The meat industry has provided an innovative education service for 20 years and during that time there have been numerous changes. Food teachers will be only too aware of the constantly evolving National Curriculum. In the 90s we saw the rise in popularity of processed foods and quick and easy meals. More recently there has been a welcome resurgence in home cooking.
Throughout these changes we have tried to reflect the needs of food teachers in our resource content and format by ensuring all our resources support your teaching of the National Curriculum. The digital age is truly upon us and, after much consultation with you, we have updated our resource offering to a digital programme - 'Digi Bites'.
Aptly named to reflect the short and concise nature of each video clip, 'Digi Bites' will provide a versatile and growing resource bank covering food skills, nutrition, and food production. To reflect this change we have streamlined and updated our website - we hope you like the changes. So, get Digi Biting!
